At PBLD we offer skills-based coaching and training for business professionals. We come from a performance background and often use interactive techniques to bring learning to life. Above all we encourage business people to grow and develop through the practical application of behavioural and interpersonal skills.
COACHING
As qualified and skilled executive coaches, our work in this area is based on many years of experience. We help senior leaders and business professionals develop skills and fulfil their potential.
Our coaching philosophy is to enable and encourage agency. This is enhanced by a strong background in areas of leadership such as personal impact, influencing skills, managing conflict and developing resilience.
WORKSHOPS
Our workshops (virtual and in-person) are always interactive and engaging.
We firmly believe in using well-researched and credible models, techniques and constructs. These are underpinned by an approach that is always practical and applicable back in the workplace.
Our interactive and practical exercises bring the learning to life.
BLENDED LEARNING
Our programs are often in a hybrid form — blending face-to-face and virtual workshops with bite-sized learning elements, coaching and role-play. Most importantly we match the format and medium to the needs of the learner enabling business people to access their training through a range of different approaches and techniques.
Our aim is always to ensure rapid uptake and deployment back at work.

ABOUT US

Paul Brady
Paul brings leadership development to life through the use of interactive and engaging techniques.
Paul trained and worked as an actor and director before refocusing his energies on the corporate world. For the past 25 years Paul has worked exclusively in leadership development and has developed specialist practice areas in behavioural safety, inclusion and diversity, business development and personal impact & executive presence.

Paul has delivered training in over 200 companies, from automotive, aerospace, finance, construction and consultancy and has worked with virtually every UK central government department.
​
As a programme designer, trainer and ILM Level 7 Executive Coach Paul supports businesses and leaders to be more effective versions of themselves. Recognising and valuing diversity, Paul enables leaders to bring their whole selves to work… but with new skills.

Sonia Murray
Sonia works with women in leadership, enabling them to navigate their careers, often through periods of transition
Sonia has 20 years’ experience in leadership and management development. Her track record with organisations as diverse as Waitrose, the BBC, Horizon Nuclear Energy, Lloyds of London and KPMG enabled her to develop an insight into the challenges and rewards for leaders in tough business environments.

With a strong track-record in coaching partners in one of the ‘Big Four’ accountancy firms, Sonia has focused particularly on leadership impact and communication, developing a specialism in coaching senior female leaders. Sonia particularly enjoys her work with women in leadership, enabling them to navigate their careers, often through periods of transition.

Increasingly, Sonia’s coaching work uncovers the impact of menopause in the workplace; strong, intelligent, capable women being sideswiped by a natural progression. Sonia founded Working Menopause and is a passionate advocate – supporting women and organisations to communicate an inclusive menopause message.
